Project brief
It was requested we create a much bigger, better patio area.
Here on this new build property in Bingham, the only paving our customers Ian and Anne had to play with was two rows of yellow buff paving! They both wanted a much larger seating area to enjoy and relax in.
Here’s what we came up with!
This project involved a new build property in Bingham owned by Ian and Anne. They had very limited outdoor paving: just two narrow rows of yellow‐buff paving that offered little usable area. Their goal was to create a much larger, more inviting patio where they could relax and entertain.
We began by removing the existing minimal paving and preparing the base for a quality patio installation. Careful ground preparation ensured proper drainage and stability, so the new surfaces wouldn’t shift or degrade over time. The design we developed uses Sahara Grey limestone for the main paving area – its clean yet natural tones give a calm, elegant backdrop. To add contrast and character, we incorporated 20 mm Silver Pink granite detailing. These granite accents tie in beautifully with the limestone base, adding texture and subtle colour variation.
The joints were filled using Manhattan Grey grout, which complements the stone colours without overwhelming them, giving a coherent, modern finish. The larger seating area allows for furniture, space for movement, and visual clarity. With the new patio, Ian and Anne now have a generous outdoor space that feels premium, durable, and visually appealing, rather than an afterthought.
